M1 to launch LTE services in Q3; Change in Data Cap?
I didn’t see this news piece getting a lot of attention overall.
But the interesting point that CNET got out of the press release was that if M1 is considering changing their mobile bundled data to be more in line with their competitors SingTel and Starhub.
When asked specifically on whether these plans included a lowered data bundle similar to SingTel’s, the M1 spokesperson declined to answer the question.
As M1 is still deliberating on this issue means that the card is on the table to reduce bundled moble data. Tricky (and expensive) this data decision is.
Consumers are waiting in bated breath to see if all mobile data offerings will fall across the board for all telcos in Singapore.
