what why where when who how: Max Payne 3

Max Payne is also 3rd in a series hitting stores on 15 May. Rockstar must be cursing silently that the Diablo 3 release date was moved and now clashes with their AAA title.

What is Max Payne 3?

Max Payne 3 is an third-person shooter that succesfully introduced the bullet-time concept into the gaming world. This will be the third title with the second released close to over 9 years ago.

Why should I play Max Payne 3?

Fans of the newer Red Dead Redemption will be itching to get their hands on this. The pedigree of this franchise is unquestioned. Rockstar has always released quality titles that blend both action and story in a good mix.

Where can I get Max Payne 3?

Pretty much any video game store.

When will Max Payne 3 be released?

Unfortunately for the publishers, the release of this title has been largely overshadowed by the release of Diablo 3. While it may seem that they are both different genres, one must remember that their predecessors were released in the same era.

Console editions will hit on the 15 May, while the PC version comes two weeks later on 29 May

Who are the developers behind Max Payne 3?

The developers of Max Payne 3 are Rockstar Games who have released acclaimed third person shooters such as Grand Theft Auto and Red Dead Redemption.

How groundbreaking is the bullet-time aspect in multiplayer?

Rockstar is taking a very big ambitious step in this. They claim that in using bullet-time in multiplayer, time is slow at any target that you are currently aiming at. I wonder how does this impact the target from his own view.

Maybe this video will help illustrate it better. But that vid didn’t even show how it really looks like from the non-bullet-time affected players viewpoint.

Grouping up will be done in a similar fashion like GTA4 and Red Dead Redemption.
