So, I was at Courts snooping out if they had stock for the Apple iPad 2 when I had the opportunity to check out the Motorola Xoom.
Gripping the Xoom in my hands, I felt that it was an awesome product on first glance. The screen is a huge draw.
Then it happened. I tried to look for a “Home” button.
Android devices, especially their mobile phones, come with plenty of buttons for a touch screen but the Xoom lacked a physical button save for the volume controls.
The navigation buttons are actually found on the screen itself and if the brightness was turned down in my case, it becomes rather hard to see. Pretty nifty actually but it’s a bit too smart for the general consumer and myself sadly at the point of time.
I’d love to give the Xoom a second go but alas my heart is already with the iPad.
